<수박 할아버지>는 돌아가신 할아버지의 이야기이다. 할아버지가 돌아가신 후, 집을 정리하는 과정에서 많은 것을 발견했다. 그 공간은 너무 적막했다. 할아버지가 남기고 간 흔적들이 고요함 속에서 더욱 부각되었다.

 

할아버지의 이야기를 기록하며 나는 여러 감정을 느꼈다. 할아버지와 함께 했던 시간들이 나와 가족에게 얼마나 중요한지를 깨닫게 되었다. 할아버지가 남기고 간 흔적들이 통해 가족의 의미와 소중함을  다시금 이해할 수 있었다.

<Watermelon Grandpa> tells the story of my grandfather, who has passed away. After he died, I discovered many things while organizing the house. The space felt incredibly silent. The traces he left behind became more pronounced in the stillness.

As I recorded my grandfather’s story, I experienced a range of emotions. I realized how important the time spent with him was for me and my family. Through the remnants he left behind, I was able to revisit the meaning and value of family.
